At the young age of 26, Dave has proven himself a competitor.  In 2006 Dave was named Angler of the Year by the local Borderline Bassmasters Club.  In the TBF Trail Competition, Dave placed 5th on the Potomac River and 9th on the Chesapeake Bay.  During the Bassmaster ESPN Outdoors Weekend Series in 2005 Dave finished 34th out of 134 fisherman.

Throughout the past five years, Dave has participated in the PA Federation Tournaments ranking 12th out of 200 in the 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 Eastern Regional, qualifying him for the PA State Classic.
